Title: failed to update the following files

I know this may be a oft answered question, but i was unable to find it via searching the boards.

For some reason, unknown to me, my MC now gives me a "Failed to update the following files" every time I do anything that changes a tag".  I made sure to "unset" the read only flag on all files and folders in my "my music" folder, but that doesn't help.  THe weird thing is that the changes ARE in fact made, but i still get the error.  E.g. if i change the name of an album or a genre, and and then do a "rename file from tags", the files do in fact get moved to the correct folder -- but i get the error anyway.

Can anyone offer any help?

Are you using build 313?  This cropped up in one of the recent builds but was fixed in the latest release.

no....using 310....will try 313 now....  thanks.....

And make sure the files are not read-only.

upgrade to .313 solved the problem.
