Is it possible to split the view up horizontally so that you can see multiple folders at once?

For instance, I would like there to be the normal tree on the left, and then on the main pane there would be the Library, and then just below it, you could have, say c:\temp. And then the search thing could filter out results from both. Is this possible?

Also, is there a reason the response times in the search box reacts differently whether I'm viewing the media library, or part of my computer? In searching the main library, it filters out things after about a one second delay, and lets you continue typing new characters as it updates the view. When one is in My Computer view, the search begins after maybe a half a second and highlights the text. This means that if I'm searching for "newman", I'll type 'ne', then it'll get highlighted, and when I type 'wm', it replaces what's there, and again when I finish typing the word, thus making it very very tough to filter out things by more than one letter while searching inside one's hard drive.

I mentioned this way back at the end of October in this (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=16077) thread, and as that went unanswered, I kinda figured that MC just wasn't designed to be used in this way and stopped doing hard disk searches from MC.

So, just incase this can be fixed, I'll add a "me too" to this one :)

I use this feature to help locate newly downloaded music from other folders..

..can it be fixed? it seems like an easy fix..

I honestly don't know. I've even less idea how easy/difficult it might be to do so.

Would be nice though eh? We'll just need to wait and see.

We'll take a look.

Bugs have a better chance of being fixed if posted in the thread for the build.
