Title: This IS Sweet
Post by: Arjuna on December 04, 2003, 07:01:49 pm
I am in the middle of taking all my old analoug 8mm video tapes to a digital format.

I lose my tunes because I switched my 2nd HDD to put in a bigger one. Must have had my licenses on my boot HDD and my tunes on the other 40gig drive that I put into a new unit for my daughter.

Anyway, I am looking for a audio program to reload my CDs to the new 160gig drive.

I download Media Center and it finds all the video I have been working with.   ;D Very Sweet  ;)

I am gona start loading my CDs   ? 8) ::) What format should I use.
Besides .wma  :-\ I think I learned my lesson.

Cheers to All   :)  :)   :)

there is nothing wrong with Windows media as long as you do not secure it. some programs will default to secure.

however MP3 is a good and very compatable format

I like VBR, High (about 200+kbps)

Thanks  :)

I think that I will use MP3, I will capture to both to see the difference.

I am wondering what I can do with these 100 hours of video that MC just found.
Even if I can only manage my files with this software, it will be worth the  ::) What is it  ? $40?

I obviously do not understand what secure means.  ;)

I'll try to figure it out.

Can I burn DVDs with this???  ?   ?

It sure playes them better than WMP 9 for XP.
I do have another unit next to my media center unit.
I can live with it taking all my memory, the 'free' software that came with my Sony Ext burner, also take the whole machine.

This is so sweet, I am watching a video whike writting my praise of the program.

Thanks!

AJ

I would use APE if I had 160GB harddrive but MP3 VBR high is usually good enough and doesn't take too much space
