I thought I would try my Hauppauge Win-TV-USB in MC as it is listed in the help file as being supported so I got the most up to date drivers and installed.
I get pictures and sound but all channels are in black & white! When I selected BBC1 I almost expected to see Andy Pandy and the Potters Wheel intermission! (OK - you will only understand this attempt an humour if you come from the UK and are as old as me!).
If I use Hauppauge's TV 2000 application it displays colour.
In TV Tuner->Options->Advanced->Display there is a checkbox 'Color Enable' which is greyed out and unchecked.
I tried a search but could not find anything. Any ideas, please?

Sorry - I meant to include my system info.

Did you select correct country when you scan for channels?
Also, did you set video format to PAL_I (Ctrl+Shift+F)?
-
In TV Tuner->Options->Advanced->Display there is a checkbox 'Color Enable' which is greyed out and unchecked.
If this is greyed out, it just means that the Hauppauge driver is not allowing application to change this property. This is the same behaviour as my NTSC version, but mine works fine (I just plugged it in and tested) - with color.

Try updating the Hauppauge drivers.

Yaobing & JimH, Thank for replying. I did have the country and PAL_I set correctly when I scanned the channels and the driver is the latest version.
I will try uninstalling/reinstalling the WinTV drivers to see if that helps. If not maybe it's something to do with the settings for my video card (NVIDIA GeForce3 TI 200) and the way it talks to MC as WinTV's on application works fine. I will have to experiment.
Thanks again.
