Title: check for duplicates

I there a way to scan my library for duplicates. Preferably with different parameters such as same file size or same/similar song name or same/similar filename in different folder etc?

Yes... just look under Auto Playlists (Audio) and you'll find a smartlist named "possible duplicates". You can fine tune the criteria to better suit your needs.
