Title: MP3 Encoder Errors

After using MJ 8.0.4 for some time with no significant system changes, apart from compressing an unrelated hard drive.
I am now getting the following error when I try to rip to MP3
or MP3 VBR.

" Plug-in MP3 Encoder Error 80040154 "

when I try to download the MP3 Plug-in I get

"Failed to install Package "
"Failed to Register Object Error 1157 "
"C\Program Files\J River\Media Jukebox\Plug-ins\enc_mp3.dll

Any Ideas ?

No clue other than one time there was a problem when a user installed another program that had a demo mp3 encoder if not registered it would generate an error.

Personaly i would uninstall, make sure everything is gone IE \J River\ folder then reinstall.

if you need to backup your cover art and library i would do that first.

I've uninstalled, re-downloaded and reinstalled. The Mp3 encoder did not show up in the initial Plugin Manager and I still get the same error when I try to download the Mp3 Encoder
