You cannot open an PayPal accompt and put money inside with a check from your bank.

the license did not work with Media Center 10.0.18 beta so please help Jlee to buy the upgrade for me if you please JimH

I don't have v10 yet as I'm waiting to get a few xmas parties out of the way before I get on the early beta train again.

He may be thinking that it will open the door to license sharing (or possibly some form of piracy) if he were to outline the procedure publicly. JLee should go ahead and buy a license for himself and note what is required, then you and he could hook up using the steps I outlined.
