If you know from the start you will burn all your songs on CDs or DVD cds.
Which settings you will use concerning file names?
With the goal to have the less file to have to rename because file name to long before burning.

What would a most excellent feature for v10 would be an on-the-fly filename conversion from, say a [Artist] - [Album] - [Track #] - [Name] filename on your hard drive to a condensed [Name] - [Artist] filename on the data CD. This would be very advantageous on the small screens of portables.

Can't you rearrange folder, etc. now? I think this already possible.
-
Yes , you can from option.
A VERY neat fonction.
Beside it :
-What is the use of file name?
-What is the use of CD file name when you burn a mp3 cd?
Stupid questions , maybe.
But ,since ages ,i was upset with this long file name problem.
In fact for no raison i understood.
Now , with MC, i can set file name....
....but i do not fully understand the total meaning of it.

I think it was Nila that started all this. Maybe should get him on a roll....

The "on-the-fly" filename conversion would make things very simple. Seems like it would be a very easy option to add.
