Title: MC10: unknown filetype after rename?
Post by: mrwul on December 13, 2003, 02:54:34 am
After renaming file - RMB on file(s), Lib.tools, rename files fm properties, filetype [Name], MC10 puts an 'unknown'- filetype symbol in front of the name, instead of the usual MC-symbol.
A workaround may be to import the files again.
MC9 did not pose such kind of (minor) 'problem'.

how long is the file name?

what version are you using?

and i am not sure if this is fixed but in earlyer version a very long file name MC9 would chop off the end so the extender was droped off.
