Title: APE v2 tags in MP3

am hearing ppl asking for this instead of IDV2 tags.

Can any one knowledgeable on the subjet comment on this pros/cons ?

All I know about the format (first used in mpc's AFAIK) is that they are very similar to vorbis comments as used in ogg's & flac's.
