Title: Problem with MC10 licence
Post by: Squanderbug on December 13, 2003, 12:30:13 pm
I've just tried to upgrade to MC10.

Downloaded. purchased and installed OK, but when I try to start MC10, it just says 'This beta has expired, please go to restore page'

When I do this and enter the registration code, it seems to accept it, but then says, the licence has expired please visit the restore page.

Now, every time I try to open MC10 it tells me the beta has expired.

Please help.

make sure your system date\year is correct, and everyone else who is having a problem do the same.

Thanks KingSparta for a very quick response, it worked.

Did MC10 change the date during the install then, I'm sure the system date was OK previously.

No

What Might Should Happen Is When MC10 Checks The License File That It Also Warns A User That The System Date Maybe Wrong.

Not sure if that is worth doing.

also there was a virus that would change the system date, so you may want to check your system for that. or it could have just been changed by you by mistake.
