Title: Can't find plug-in for Rio 800 once downloaded
Post by: estephens on December 07, 2002, 02:27:50 pm
???I downloaded MJ 8.0 and the plug-in for the Rio 800 MP3 all onto one computer; these will be transferred to another computer that  isn't connected to the internet.  I easily transferred MJ 8.0, but I cannot find the Rio plug-in to transfer.  Please help.

Right click on the download link for the plugin and do "save as" (using IE).

What you will save is a file with an mjp extension.  It contains instructions which can be edited with notepad.  Once you've changed them, execute the mjp file by double clicking on it in Explorer.

I did the right click, Save target as, .mjp to my desktop.  As far as finding directions, I can't find anything.  The icon is on my desktop, I double click and it say plug-in successfully installed.  What I am trying to do is install the plug-in on another computer that is not connected to the internet.

Sorry, I'm a rookie, thanks.

Open the mjp file with notepad to change its instructions.
