Title: nomad zen xp and media jukebox

hi, i just got a new computer with windows xp. when i try to upload mp3's from my nomad zen to the computer using media jukebox 8 the files transfer, but when i look at them on the computer they just say file and will not play. i tried to rename one file with .mp3 at the end and it played. the file icon also changed into the little jukebox. it will only let me rename one at a time which is too time consuming. any ideas what i can do. i didnt have a problem with 98se. thinking i maybe need to change something in xp, but dont know where to start. thanks for any help.

I'm not sure.  Can you try a search here?  SteveG is our expert on this.  Maybe he'll answer tomorrow.

This is a bug that is fixed in MC 9. If you can, please update to MC 9 and you should be all set.
