I have just download, loved and paid for the Slide Show Plugin....

Is there a way of getting it to save the pictures it downloads so on future plays it doesnt have to be online?

No.  Media Center has a built-in slideshow (but it doesn't do an Internet )search.

you could scan your computer temp folders to see if MJ puts the pictures there (maybe with a ".tmp" extender) or something.
