I have a bunch of songs that I've tagged, but I'd like to add "choral" to their keyword entries. I don't want to REPLACE the existing keywords, however.
Is there any way to go about this?

where do you save Key Words?
In a User Defined Field?
There Is No Find And Append Option, This Was Asked For

I don't remember adding a keyword field... didn't it come standard?

For list-type fields, tagging mode is the easiest.
Make a view scheme with 'Keyword' in it and go to town.

Okay, forgive me for being a bit dense here, but:
1) I couldn't find any info in the program documentation on 'tagging mode' (searched for tagging, tags, etc.)
2) Once in tagging mode, can I APPEND list items to a keyword field, or only replace?

I got a hit when searching for "tagging mode" and "tagging". Both searches displayed "Edit Properties with View Schemes" which has a screenshot and explains tagging mode.
Personally, I prefer the first way explained in that section. Have a view scheme that includes only "keywords", and edit the scheme so that it populates in the tree. Expand it. Then simply drag any file(s) into the keyword you want.

lise has it right.
Add "Keyword" as a pane on top, then select all the files below that you want to tag (with Ctrl or Shift click), then enter tagging mode (press F4). Then you can create a new entry (by clicking "New Keyword" in the pane) or use an existing one by checking the checkbox. This should append and not replace...I just tested it in MC10 and it worked as described. I'm pretty sure 9.1 does the same thing.
Hope this helps
