Title: The LOCATE menu... what's it supposed to do?

I highlight a track, right click LOCATE | ARTIST, and nothing happens.  Same, in fact, for all the LOCATE stuff.

What's this supposed to be doing?

It works fine for me.

When a track is highlighted (in any view) and Locate Artist is chosen, the view switches to Media Library displaying all tracks by that artist.

Same for Album, Genre, rating and any of the Advanced options.

I guess its for fast find of matches. If you hear a track and think 2I'd like to find the whole album/everything by this artist/smae genre etc. than using locate gets it quickly.

I know this works fine on 10.0.22.

Very strange!

That's exactly the way I'd expect and hope this feature to work, but on my system (running 10.22 registered), it does absolutely nothing!  I've tried activating this from a track in both NOW PLAYING and in a random playlist.

Ideas for troubleshooting?

Ah, I just found the bug!

It works if I set my media type to ALL, but it didn't (and still doesn't) work if I have my media type set to AUDIO (even though I was, indeed, trying to match on music).

Thanks for pointing this out; you saved me the trouble.  I can reproduce the same thing, with the same setup as yours.
