Because you think noone need it?
Because this encoder does not have this setting?
Because there is not anymore Braindead setting?
My question is not related to music quality.
It is just that i will transcode some files and would like to get the 'less lossless' format.

Hi Zev,
You can get the 'braindead' setting thru the custom quality option.
Juste enter "--braindead" in the command line box. in Options/encoding.
hope this helps !

And don't forget --xlevel because of clipping isue, the command i use in MC is --xtreme --xlevel ( This is for --quality 6 )

Thank you.
In fact ,i'am not sure if i'am right to go foe Braindead.
But i saw somewhere than transcoding MPC Braindead was allmost like transcoding APE.
And i do need to transcode to OGG and MP3
