I just loaded Media Center on a new computer. I had a glitch installing (unrelated to Media Center). Now in my view schemes there are far fewer default view schemes -- did they go away or did something go amiss in my install? I have no other ill effects.
There are only three views under Audio now. I used to like the Genre view schemes, am i now supposed to build them from scratch?
Any pointers appreciated.
Rob.

I added back in a Genre one but it just seems like a lot of the pre-built views are gone.
-
Did you try re-installing?
-
Could you tell me what views should be under Audio by default?
Thanks!
....and Merry Christmas!
-
there is an option to reset the view schemes to default
Genre is not one of them
-
Thanks, I found it.
Where are custom views stored, in the library? When I upgrade to new versions, are the customized view schemes lost? Is there a way to export them?
Thanks,
Rob.

Don't know I Don't use "View Schemes"
create one and upgrade and see if it is still there after.

So what'd u use King?
-
I use "Find" box
thats why it pisses me off it don't remember what i type into it
-
So do you always know what song you are looking for, or do you ever like to browse a category or type of music?
Do you do more advanced things with the Find box or just typing in part of a song or artist?

most of the time i have a general Idea
Do you do more advanced things with the Find box or just typing in part of a song or artist?
yes, but i may add some other search parms like genre, year etc...
then if you move around you need to type all that you typed in again, earlyer versions it would remember what you typed.
