Title: Upgrade Failure

When I try to check for updates,

I go to "Help" menu,

then "Check for Updates" MC it returns a message from Package Installer that says          

"Failed to read Version Info file"

I have a registered copy of MC 9.1.308

What am I missing?? Thanks in advance for your help
