First thing....download 8.0.393
Second thing....download latest ASPI from Adaptec (v4.72)
Now...
Backup license...uninstall MJ...update ASPI...reinstall MJ...restore license
That should solve your probs.

the other user on my computer is having no problems with jukebox. any reason for that?
-
Wow! Huh?
Did you install MJ once for each user? In other words, you didn't just copy the link to a spot available to all users, did you? You need administrative rights for any user account that uses MJ (at least for the initial install and if you use internal ASPI). No way around that....I believe.
But you do need to update as mentioned earlier.

so both users need to update?
-
Yes. Install the latest version of MJ 8 for both. It's on our downloads page.

Yessssireee bob
You'll want to install in exactly the same location for all users (of course...sorry). Main reason is each user has his own "section" of the registry, and as such all user sections need to be updated by installing for each.
