Title: Write stream to output file?
Post by: 9O3q1NJ9eyz42Jf9 on December 30, 2003, 10:39:42 am
Is it possible, when listening to a streaming source (such as Internet radio) to capture the output to a local file, such as a WAV file?  I used to do this with Winamp's "WAV output" plugin.  Maybe I'm just dense, but I can't figure out how to do this with MC 10.

This should do the trick:
MC > Options > Output > Disk Writer

It took me a couple minutes, but I figured out that you meant Options > Playback > Output > Mode > Disk Writer.  Thank you!  I knew I was overlooking the obvious.   ;)

Thanks again, Matt, I really appreciate the response.

Is there a way to use hot-keys to toggle between DiskWriter and WaveOut?

Apparently not.  It would be a really slick bit of functionality though.
