Title: How do I change Month from AUG to "8"?

Is there a way to create a Calculated field that translates the 3-letter Alpha MONTH field into a numeric field ?

Nope....  The [Date (filename friendly)] is as close as it gets.  I use it for sorting and renaming the files.

I bet Nila would write you a plugin, though :-)  Well...  maybe you'd have to send him a few beers.

well you could do this with a plug-in if you can program

it would be simple, but i see no real need or people screaming for it (kind of like the people running and screaming from the theater in the 1957 movie the blob).

I found another instance that I need MONTHS in the numeric format .... anyone know how to create a CUSTOM field for this that calculates it from existing data??
