Title: Search for blank string

I would like to create a smartlist or view scheme with the rule ("Album Artist" is blank).  I've tried several things, but none of them worked. Is this possible?

I don't have MJ8 But In MC9

Artist="" will bring up Any Artist That Is Blank

Doesn't appear to work in MJ8. I tried the rule

albumartist=""

And got no matches (yes, I do have files that should match this).

well there is no albumartist in MC9

but have you tried

albumartist=[]
