Title: AVI / Video playback

Seems I've missed a setting or codec download or whatever somewhere because I can't playback any AVI files.  Using Vers 10.26.   Any suggestions?

Try looking up codec pack on Google.  There are so many codecs it's hard to get the right one, so I just use a codec pack.

Can you play AVIs at all eg by using another player via the Windows right click "Open with ..." option?

OK Thanks.......have obtained a codec pack and all seems to work as it did some time previously without being aware that I ever had, or needed, a codec pack at that time.   so far so good.. Thanks for assistance.

It COULD have been the fact the MS no longer provides the Intel Indeo codec like they used to on their older OS'.  I know that XP Pro doesn't have it, but I don't know about the others.
