Title: Cross fade
Post by: Rich on January 01, 2004, 02:24:26 pm
Hi all,
I can now not get the cross fade function to work under any permutation of the options. Is this a know problem? It worked for a short while on an old 400 Hz pc with no other progs loaded. Now running a shuttle with 1.3 AMD and 750 Mb DDR ram.

Thanks  Rich

It should work. Every setting related to it is in MJ>Settings>Options>Playback.

I have it set here as follows:
Between tracks: Crossfade (smooth)
Duration: 1 sec
Seeking: Smooth (normal)
Stop: Fade out (normal)
Output>Mode>DirectSound

Thanks tried your settings but no joy! - microsoft does something to screw it up I think.
Wonder if one can run MJ on Lynux operating system.

MJ/Linux? Possibly under WINE (WINdows Emulator). Post your sys info from MJ>Help>System Info.

I recently tried to use cross fade, too and it doesn't work, despite trying all different settings and re-starting MJ.  I've used it in the past in earlier MJ versions without a problem.
