Has anyone noticed that version .27 is very slow.
I installed .26 and also an earlier version of MC10 and they all worked as fast as always when looking at the trees, etc. But now everything is slow.
It looks like everything that is written to the screen is delayed and slow. Also, when clicking on an artist, or any view, to show that list of songs is very slow.
Playback sound is not affected. Also, the "Performance" indicator on windows show only 4% of the CPU being used so it is not a resource issue.
I used MC9 to upgrade to V10. after V10 was installed everything didn't work properly. I completely un-installed V10 and even deleted the J River directory. Then I installed V10 to no avail.
Also, I can't install the sleep timer plug-in.
I don't know what to do. "Damn it Jim, I'm a doctor not a mechanic!!"
Thank's and keep up the good work.

Matt did mention in the 10.0.27 beta release notes that they're trying a new DB caching system. Perhaps this is not playing well with your configuration. Dunno that it will help, but it probably couldn't hurt to post your system info (from the Help menu in MC) in this thread.

I notice that. 27 is much faster in the screen draws than prior versions.

When the Action Window is showing its home page, updates are really slow for me. No other page is slow like that.
It must be hitting the CD drive over and over or something. Next build will fix it.
Thanks guys.

I have noticed that this version of MC is taking up 15 to 20 percent of my CPU when it is running and I am playing music (with visualisations switched off).
I don't think this is 'normal' - at least I don't think I've seen it take this much resource before.
My PC is a 2.0GHz if that helps...
Cheers,
Mark

P.S. I noticed that one of my quotes was edited.
Sorry about the bad language.
These days TV puts out so much trash it's hard to remember what is ok or not.
Anyway, I am waiting for the next build.
Also, did anyone find out about the Plug-in install problem (sleep timer)?
