There are some nice internet radio programs I like but they play only at hours when I'm at work. And I can't often play the shows when I'm at work.
A feature I'd like to see is a VCR type of timer function which allows me to set station, date, time, and duration so Media Jukebox would automatically record the radio show for me so I can listen to the program at a time good for me.
What about it? Is this doable? If this is an extra cost add-in, I would pay for it.

i don't think you will see this for MJ8 since it is like 2 versions old

You can do it...with Media Scheduler (look under Start (button)>Programs>Media Jukebox>...) and some MJ ext man (http://www.musicex.com/mediajukebox/DevZone/CommandLine.html) commands. Not sure it was ever perfected in v8, though. Would start up the recording fine but wouldn't stop (last I checked). Get a handle on MS and the syntax, then experiment.

edit: This would be work for recording out of the Line In port of your soundcard. For recording off the net, you would have to change MJ>Settings>Options>Playback>Output mode to Diskwriter.
