Title: reading DVD mp3 on a computer

If i do a DVD cd with mp3 on it.

Do you need a DVD-r  drive to read them ?
Or a normal cd-r  drive will read them ?

I hope they don't delete this, as illegal enabling information, but you need a DVD capable player.  It does not have to be DVD-R recording player.  Most recent DVD players will see whatever is on DVD media.  It it is a home computer based DVD player, just launch your favoring MP3 player. If it is a standalone DVD player, you need to have one with MP3 firmware built in.

Just curious.... What is so illegal about putting a mp3 on a dvd??
