Although I'm in 10.0.27 now, I've seen this for quite a while, probably back to 9.1.
Scenario: I have an unknown CD in my drive (not found in YADB, or can't contact YADB), so that MC gives the CD an album name of something like "Unknown Album (2)". I then acquire album information by getting the info into cdplayer.ini (via a 3rd-party tool that uses freedb.org, or I edit it in there myself) and telling MC to Update from CD Database, which eventually causes it to read cdplayer.ini (is there an easier way?)
At this point, the organization tree under "Drives & Devices" is still showing "Unknown Album (2)" for my CD drive, but secretly MC knows the correct album name, which I can tell two ways:
* If I press F2 (or menu Edit Selected Item), the new album name is there for me to edit. If I Escape out of the edit, it returns to "Unknown Album (2)".
* If I eject the CD and reinsert it, MC gets the album name right.
