Title: OT-To Cmagic- Rolling Stones new edition cds

Today i found a box set of 16 Rolling Stones ,remastered and ..DIGIPACK.
They are both on 'normal' format and 5 something format.
I know you have some of them.
Are they protected ? Did you rip them om your becane?

Beside it , the box set is not that much of the good deal, cause you have a lot of best of like Flowers, Throught the past,Hight tide &..., Metamorphosis .
But look like it is the only way to get the others in digipack.

Hi Zev,

I've got just a few Stones remastered (3CD London year singles, let it bleed and  get yer ya ya's out) only let it bleed in digipack (that's my fourth copy for let it bleed: 2 LPs, 2 CDs !)
I was able to rip them oK using EAC. I did not try with MC but I guess it should work. The remastering is fine but it's not the totaly new sound that some claimed.

They said that it is in 5.1 that the sound is really better.

Anyway ,i do not have any Stones on Cd , so  i will buy it tomorow.
They keep it for me . But first ,i wanted to know if protected or not.

I have all but 2 of the re releases... they are kinda in 5.1 but you need a SACD player to hear the advanced sound....

I have ripped all of them with MC... As I do not have a SACD player I cannot tell you wether the rip was SACD...(I don't imagine id would be)

Not sure how much the box is, but you can get them off Ebay at a great price... I think I paid about 12 canadian to get them... ( They come from Russia.)

Got the box today.

I do not know if it is because of my external SoundBlaster Extigy soundcard, but the sound is very very good , i do not think i may play my LP ever again..- coming from me ,it says a lot-

But , you have to listen at hight volume . At 'normal' volume the difference is less.

My luck to have an amp with volume level starting at 8.....

Let it bleed- the song- is MY song.The song i like the most of all songs in rock.
The only song i would keep if i had to keep only one.

I remember doing a 90 minutes cassette with only Let it bleed on it.....

I allways had 2 LPs of Let it bleed:
One to play the full lp ,and one to play only the song.

SORRY , not Let it bleed ,but Gimme Shelter.
