Title: License problem
Post by: Hertz2 on January 04, 2004, 10:28:16 am
Hello,
I've paid for a MC10 license, but your server keeps telling me that I can only use it for MC9. I had paid for MC9, and I also have paid for MC10. Now, I would like to register my current copy of MC10.
Please, fix it. You have my e-mail (same for the forum and for the MC10 registration) and I suppose you can send me a valid MC10 restore file.

what version of mc9 do you have?

also you can go to the restore page and have the server send you the restor code and restore MC9 so it works again.

did you try that?

==> I have MC10, not MC9. The version I'm trying to register is the last one (27, I think).

also you can go to the restore page and have the server send you the restor code and restore MC9 so it works again.

==> It's MC10 I want to register, not MC9.
I went to the restore page and I did exactly that, but when I try to register MC10, I get a message telling me that my license only works for MC9.
But I do have a license for MC10. If you check it out, you'll see that I have one.

I don't have access to do that.

I think Gateley handles this type of problem.

I upgraded to version 10 about mid-December. Now, when I try to open the program a message appears stating the beta version has expired. Yes, I paid my $9.99. What must I do to keep the program current?

What do I need to do to go back to version 9. I'm not going to update to a new version every two weeks. My dial-up modem is too slow for this.

Hi Hertz,

You are using the wrong e-mail. Append "-mail" to your normal username for the e-mail you used for version 10.
