I'm having trouble with the various artists/assorted view scheme. It was standard in previous versions of MC (have 9.136) and it was very helpful.
For instance, I have The Matrix Reloaded Soundtracks, which have various artists. Or any other album that has various artists... previous versions had the "assorted" view scheme and now I can't get it to work.
Any suggestions?

Change the view scheme to use "Album Artist (auto)" in the place of "Artist"
We don't do this by default because it has confused people in the past. Not sure what's better.

That was fast... any help on how can I do that..? Now I'm confused myself!

Forgot to add... the only "multiple artist" that appears on the middle columns of MC is NOT a multiple artist album... isn't MC a "smart" jukebox? My tags are correct.

Album Artist (Auto) will show the Album Artist as multi-artist if the Album Artist Field is blank and any of the following are true:
- the tracks are not located in the same directory
- all of the tracks do not have exactly the same artist name
If for example you have an Elton John album where one of the tracks is Elton John & Kiki Dee you can override the Album Artist field (which is otherwise blank) with Elton John. Album Artist Auto will then treat the Album artist as Elton John.
If you create a view scheme based on Album Artist Auto you should go down the list of Multi-artist albums and override the Album Artist field for any albums that are not actually multi-artist.
Remember the rule above though about the tracks living in the same directory. You can achieve this using Library Tools> rename Files From Properties and a directory rule of something like Artist\Album with 'Use assorted' ticked.

Ooooohhhhhh! You hit it right in the spot! No wonder I couldn't get it to work.
I took all my music files out of whatever folders they were at and had MC re-arrange them.
Everybody please be careful if you have iTunes, since this app will change how your music files are organized.
