Title: Hickup during playback

Hello,

I'm running MJB 8 on a shuttle barebone FV26 with pentium III at 1100 MHz

When I play a CD it stutters but when I Rip it (digital secure) to disk and play the wave (or MP3 for that matter), it is flawless.

Also CD player (win2k) stutters, so it has nothing to do with MJB I asume.

Has someone an idea what it might be.

Set to DMA, it works fine.

Thanks a lot.

I had forgotten that I had changed the drive.

With me the Via Chipset works fine.
