Title: MULTIZONE-WITH OPTIONAL SYNCHRONIZED PLAY
Post by: outerbay on January 06, 2004, 03:52:37 am
Does anyone know if Media Center will work with the following wireless 802.11b, ethernet to digital audio, bit perfect device:

Seems like a neat way to play media, including Ogg, in remote locations.  Different locations can be optionally set to play the same playlist witht he sound synchronized.  It is an open system with source code, so I suppose a .APE decoder could be installed.

Don't you have to use the slim server for this?

I'd like to see this supported as well.  Is there anyone using this and MC?

Don't know.  They look great... and their server is open source, so it should be easier to figure out what they need from a server.

If MC can support it I'll buy 3!

The design looks a bit dated but the functionality rocks.
