Title: Exclude Folders on Global Media Import?
Post by: samarah88 on January 08, 2004, 10:34:25 am
Is there a way to exclude a folder(s) when Importing Media from the root level?

I like to periodically check my system for media files from the root level of my drives. However there are a few folders that contain images/wav files etc. that I would like to ignore.

Some are for Photoshop and some are for my CADD system. These files are used for texturing and visualization and I do NOT want them to be part of my library. There are several hundred and I know where they exist but I still would like to do a global search while excluding these files.

No automated way.  You can use browse to import single directories.

You might consider moving your media into a Media folder.
