Title: iPod won't play purchased AACs

I'm using MC 10.0.28 beta to manage my music collection on my iPod. While I have no trouble playing AAC files that I bought from iTunes in MC, when I sync them with my iPod in MC, they don't play on my iPod. When I try to play them on my iPod, the iPod locks up for a second and returns to the main menu.

I assume that the problem has something to do with copy protection. Anyone have any advice?
