Title: Is 10.0.31 as stable as 9.1.316 yet?
Post by: lalittle on January 10, 2004, 06:44:08 am
What's the general consensus on the current version of 10 (31) vs the last version of 9.1 (316) as far as robustness/stability goes?  If 10 is up to the level of 9.1, I'd like to try it, but I'm not real keen on openning myself up to too many bugs at this time, so I'd rather wait for a decent level of stablity before trying it.

Thanks for any feedback on this,

Larry

This is a beta.  Avoid this if problems, changes, or crashes will upset you.  Do NOT try this if you aren't prepared for trouble.

The latest known stable version of 9.1 is here:

I have no problems with it

It isn't too buggy, but it isn't as clean as 9.1.

Waiting might be best.

Jim, I also lived at work some years ago, so to mark the difference, I put on a tie and shawed when I went to work so that I knew which was which...

Just in case you don't feel like going sailing today but would like to make the NetRemote-powered-by-Media-Center-community very happy, here is small bug for MC but a big problem for NetRemote users: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=6;action=display;threadid=18038 (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=6;action=display;threadid=18038). Any word from the master if this will be addressed at all?

Thanks! ;)
