Title: Remote: Assign multiple buttons to different playlists?
Post by: bobe4 on January 12, 2004, 12:32:31 am
In my MC options/remote setup I want to assign a number to each playlist (the problem is this requires multiple button presses on the remote such as 1 and 5, for playlist 15).

IS there a way within MC9 or even MC10 to record multiple button presses for one action (e.g. 1 followed by 5 plays playlist 15)?  I hoped there would be a way to assign a button to tell MC that multiple buttons were following, then it would wait for the 1 and the 5, where now it treats those as two seperate commands.

Please help with this, or give other ideas.

By the way, I mess some wiht Girder (it was 6 months ago) only for this one thing, but I couldn't get it to work.

Look in the third party plugin page.

There's a thread in there about playlist creator - that and girder do what you want.

And for the Girder bit you can look at my homepage, I have exactly that system (but I have playlists up to almost 3000 now...)

Thanks folks.  I found the playlist creator thread -

Tor for the playlist creator program - which program did you use - do you have a link for it - and is it easy to use (are there simple instructions somewhere on how to do it?)

I'm looking at your girder stuff now, I'm sure I'll have questions on that

I use Nila's plug-in. He said to look at the third party plugins page. Didn't you?  ;)
