Title: is there a girder plugin?
Post by: Donut on January 12, 2004, 12:10:15 pm
When I read through the help file it showed there being a option to select girder for use with a remote control. I have MC 9.1 and am only able to select IRMAN. So is there a plugin for girder or what?

There's no plugin... but the support is there.

Quote from Help File:

For the configuration file, go to …\Media Center\Data\Extras\Girder.
(you have to go to 'Search' and type Girder though... if you were reading the page I think you were, I'm not surprised you thought it was built in... it should be changed a bit).

All you need to do is open up Girder and import the gml file (in \Data\Extras\Girder), then learn your events and you're off :)

If you need any more help just let me know.

Thanks Zarius, you couldnt have explained it better. Thats basically all I was really after, a .gml file. I do have one more question which is unrelated...I havnt been able to find any deinterlacing plugins. Can you tell me if there are any available? cheers.

Hmm... I've seen the question asked before, and I don't think there is one out there yet (not that I know of anyway.)
