Tried to install MJ and MC but got the message: "Errors encountered while performing the operation. Look at the information window for more details." There is no Information Window, and this message is generated whilst the MJ/ MC files are been de-compressed from the archive.
Did a search on this message in the forum and at least one other person had a problem, although this was with Media Center beta 10.0.12. I've tried to install the released version of MC/ MJ and this fails with the same error message???
I'm trying to install this to a Windows XP machine, .NET Framework and Visual Studio 2003. I mention these cause these are the only big differences between my PC and a friend that has a smilar setup and the package un-packs without error there...

First, I have .NET and VS 2003 installed, so you need not worry about that being the cause of your problem.
The official response you are probably going to get is to download the file again, and don't use any download managers. This isn't a bad idea.
