We really hope not. I don't have any problems with my custom fields this build.
Make a backup first. Let us know if anything is strange.

Cheers Matt...gonna take the risk...i'll keep you posted...

4. NEW: Checkboxes for selecting tracks to rip.
Sweet!!! ;D I like this build! I like the improved action window, but I would still like the option to turn it off completely.
Also, when ripping, is there any chance of bring back the speed at which you're ripping being displayed? i.e., 30x That was always a nice cosmetic thing that I liked.
The only issues I'm having is once a disc is ripped and completed, I'm told to insert another disc or click close. Shouldn't there be two options "Continue" or "Rip Again" and "Close?" I only have "Close" and if I click close after inserting another CD, it doesn't refresh the drive until I've clicked elsewhere in the library and back on the drive. Is this by default? If so I can learn to live with it.
Also, ripping seems somewhat slower that it did in the past. That may just be me though. ;)
Great job on this build guys!!! ;D

...Edited...

This is still a bug
This has been around for a long long time..
If I move several files to one loaction, I get the message that a file is a duplicate, I say "NO" do not over write it. When all done the file is still in the original location (That is good). It is no longer in the data base.
-
This is still here too.
It;s hard to find the word "cut"

VBR is still not playing properly (didn't in 9 either), the drums are stumbling/stuttering, very variable...
I ripped at VBR ~192 with RealPlayer. Real plays the album fine as does Nero.
Maybe there's something about resources, whenever - well, usually - I start MediaCenter a tool alerts me of too many GDI objects. I close MediaCenter, alert goes away, I open another application, alert does not come back. (Alert level is at 7032, MC starts, count is at about 7800).

Also posted in the access control thread:
BUG: In the access control dialogue box, the cursor disappears when I start typing my password. It does not always come back until I close the dialogue box (using tab to move around).
BUG: When I type in a search in the "prevent access to..." advanced search box, without using a rule, etc. that search is the only I can see in my library. Exactly as if I had typed in the search box under "media library"
BUG (IMHO): Access control active, return to access control and the previous access control rule is gone and replaced by the default access rating filter.

Maybe my recollection is somewhat scrambled, but double-clicking an album thumbnail seems to react differently. When you double-clicked an album thumbnail in an earlier build the album would start to play. Now it is added to the bottom of the "Playing Now" list.
Again, maybe it always did work this way and I am having my first "senior moment".

NEW: Retooled Tag Info window functionality / look.
I love the wider text area when a tag is selected for edit.
-
Sometimes when using Tagging Mode to assign a new Artist (I've so far only encountered this with the Artist field), the files are assigned the new Artist, but the panes aren't updated to display the new Artist until after you leave the view and come back.
-
The changes to the action window are much appreciated! ;D

"This operation has left empty folders on your hdd." doesn't seem to actually check if the folder in question actually exists... I've had situations where I've had to do a 'Find & Replace' on the filename field to match the library up with some moved files and it tells my about an empty folder, when the folder is long gone.
A "Rename files from properties" bought up a dialog about read-only files (note: no 'Yes to all' option? I had quite a few read-only files) and successfully renamed all (roughly) 200 files... except one which it reported as failed and left the 'filename' as the old filename, but when I checked the hdd it had successfully changed the name. There's nothing substantially different about this file, except that it was read-only, but quite a few other readonlys got changed fine.
A few times now when I've left the cursor hovering over a video in the list it has shown the image for that video, but the info for the video just above or below it (in the balloon that comes up, that is)... this only seems to happen when I have the cursor right on the junction between the files (give or take a pixel... I'm sure it's one pixel on the file I wanted) and not all the time, but enough to confuse me a few times now :)

Same as all, action window is nice - still i think it would be nice to be able to display items from to different sources at the same time , ex: Image + Tag Info - the expand arrows are a good way to do so !

7. NEW: Retooled Tag Info window functionality / look.
Oh, Sweet! I'd given this up as a lost cause long ago!
Does anyone else see this? When using the mouse-wheel to scroll up or down in the tag info window (in previous builds as well) the entire list appears to scroll, and then it jumps back to where it was plus or minus one row.
Bad description, I know.
Something better might have been: "When using the mouse wheel to scroll in the tag info window it looks really weird."
Thats better,
Scott.

When the AW resizes itself in File Type Info mode, sometimes you're left with an artifact in the list column header:

Yes I see that as well... It's been happening for a long time...

Apparently that is a bug in the windows control... or something...

MC10 is causing the pc to freeze for up to 30 seconds when the last track on PN has finished. It's being caused by the fadeout setting in Options/Playback. The length of the freeze is dependent on the length of the fadeout chosen.
I get the following message when trying to print images :-
There are no printers installed

I have lost the ability to change which tools I have down below the action window.
Scratch that. Just found it in the options menu. Sorry. I'm sure i could do it just by right clicking in the tools area before though.
Also, regarding the access controls. I think its a nice idea but as previously mentioned, when you create your own rule (I did one with genre and deleted the nc-17 R stuff) you end up only being able to see what you were trying to hide. undesirable.
It's not so good having it only accessible in the menu either. I want to be able to turn it on and off using an icon down under the action window.
Also (sorry, not strictly a bug, but very annoying) I love the categories icons. They really tidy up the tree. But they're so far away from it. I have a big desktop and have to scroll really far to change the category then all the way back to the left to start filtering through the panes. Please put the category icons near the far left pane to save my hand.

Wishes:
-To allow to fully expand/collapse the action window, this way we can have a much larger treeview, this will come very handy if more actions are added in the future, what is the point of having a tiny treeview?
-Oh please, a much larger search bar, this is ridiculous
Thanks
-
The "store images inside file" option isn't sticking. It will work the first time the option is checked, but to make it work again you must uncheck then recheck the option each time.
-
Frequent crashes with media server. no error - just disappears. also, do we support stream of video yet? let's me try and stream mpg but then crashes.

A big 10-4 on this (good detective work, JJ...I wondered what was causing this). I get a 15 to 20 second hang after the last track has played before MC becomes responsive again.
Settings are:
Between Tracks: Crossfade (smooth) w/ duration of 3 secs
Seeking: Smooth (normal)
Stop: Fadeout (slow)
10-27
