Title: Feature Request: Queue All File Writes (ie. Tags, rename, etc.)

Would be great if i could make lots of changes to files and have teh actual writes be asynchronous so I don't have to wait for them.  Just queue all writes and have them execute in the background.  System would remember what needs to get processed in the queue in case of crash or shutdown.

This has been discussed, along with other database speed enhancements.  Matt says database changes are 'in the works'   ;)

Great!  Does this mean for V10 or after?  

BTW - is there a good thread on the planned changes in V10 - i bought it on principal, but not sure what I'm getting.
