Only 8 genre's. I know there's more, but I tried to hit the big ones.
I won't slant the poll by telling you what I like.

Grunge and other kinds of Metal should more logically fall under the Rock category. Dance/Electronic(a)/House/Rave/Techno/etc should be its own category. :)
My vote is for Dance/Electronic(a)/House/Rave/Techno/etc.

Everything... Dead serious !!!
I can go from listening to the BBC's essential selection house / electronic mixes to Bachs brandenburg concertos in the flip of a disc and be as happy with both of them...
I am really waiting for some smart trip hop / dub / producers (like Kruder and Dorfmiester for example) who really use a stereo soundfield to embrace 5.1 formats... I think if someone like the above went onto the format (like LTJ Bikem did for D&B) it would be sensational audio experience.
I just listened to K&D 'Gold' 2CD yesterday and had forgetten what masters they are at soundfield engineering. Now gimme more channels !!!

This is the kind of poll where you should be able to tick off more than one catagorie. For me, it's easier to name what I don't listen to: Opera, religious.

hmm, I would say Heavy Metal....
What is Death Metal??

It seems that most people interpreted the question to be a form of "what do you like to listen to?" Personally, I picked dance/rave/techno (and totally agree that metal goes in Rock) because it is the one I know the Least about. I have some, I've heard stuff I like and stuff I didn't, but it definitely piques my interest = wanna know/hear more.

Jazz, New Age/World, Classical, some Pop, some Country, Exotic, Musicals, and Christmas to name a few.
Is that a few ? ?

You know, I was debating about the latin and other ethnic musics, but I didn't have enough categories.
And, now thinking of it, metal should be grouped with rock. I just know lot's of "rockers" that hate "metal" so I grouped them out separately.
You know, this leads into an interesting topic. I always wanted to open a music store without genre tags. Put music with music, basically. And I'd always pick a completely random CD to pump through the in-store system.
