I decided to let the snow pile up, and stay inside and listen to music!  :)

Well I had to open my big mouth.

Been snowing today, in Denver of the East.

Got maybe two or three inches.

Schools and everything else has been closed for tomorrow.

Seen a lot of pickup trucks, sliding around, but thats all there is around here ;D

Up North, you would have a foot befor anything got closed.

King

Get any flakes over there?

(The kind that falls out of the sky)

Winnipeg's got the most snowfall in ten years... Every other day for nearly a week and a half I've been shovelling ~3 feet of snow down the entire length of my house and front walk.  :(

Griff;

You live in Denver ?

I'm from Denver now living in Houston ;D

Boy, how I really miss the snow, & the mountains, & the lakes, City Park, Lakeside, Coors Beer, & all that other wonderful stuff that is so unique to Denver ::)

I miss the warm Chunuk winds in the middle of winter.

I remember one year it started snowing in September & did not stop until May the following year :P

I also remember the year where we went for two whole weeks when the temperature never got above zero degrees F in the day & dropped down to -25 at night.  It was so cold that winter that the battery in my Corvette actually froze solid & broke the case open... what a mess that was :P

Two whole weeks, eh?
Nah, I had better not say anything.

Well, maybe just one thing. My hometown (Timmins) has twice been the coldest city in Canada in the past two weeks (and it's not even that far north).  For 2 full weeks it's been -40 (not including wind) during the DAY.

But then again, -40 isn't as cold as -10C. I swear, that's true. -40 is crisp; -10 is damp.

Lise

I guess you can turn off the Ice Box now.

Save energy, it is the right thing to do.

I was Born in Mich, and it was normal to see 140 to 200 inches of snow in a winter.

if we had that in NC they would be lost here.

School Is Closed Today

Over here, tis morning, they closed them again for tomorrow.

Its a big event, when it snows here.

My Mini Dashounds dont even like the snow.

I open the door to let them out and they just stand there and look.

They have an expression on their faces of "I dont think so"

Well, its suppose to get back up in the high 50s this week.

So this will be over quick.  ;D

Not like up North, where it seems to hang around forever.  :P
