i find im having trouble using the tv tuner section as i have no probs getting a picture up for all channels however i can not see any option on mc 9 that lets u fine tune the sound there fore im ended up with a great picture and virtually no sound or very fuzzy sound can anyone help thanks.
-
Did you ck your Windows mixer settings?
Sometimes they change when loading MC.
-
Also ck. TV Tuner/options/advance and make sure your
using the right audio line.
-
na everythings set up fine its just usually through other programs ie the usual tv prog i use fly 2000 tv u tune in the station and then u fine tune it to get the sound and picture perfect but i cant find no optoin for me to do this so i cant see how im gonna get clear sound.
-
I do not think there is user controllable fine-tuning in DirectShow architecture, at least I have not found one. All is automatically tuned.
In MC version 10, there is a frequency-override feature, which can be used to set frequencies in case DirectShow tunes it to the wrong range of channels.
-
yeah im a bit stuck really i mean my usual thing to do is i would tune in station then fine tune it which makes sound clear and improves pic slightly but with out this feature i cant see how im gonna watch tv through mc.

You may try using a different driver.
-
its very hard trying to find drivers for the tv card i have!!
Also i cant see what differnce this would make are you saying new drivers will have some sort of tuner built in?
Im sure that other users who have tv cards will be facing the same probs as me

Would you like to tell us, what card you have?
-

I was saying drivers control how to tune to stations. I only program according to specifications of Microsoft DirectShow. Maybe the driver you are using does not tune it according to specification fo DirectShow.
