I've gotten conflicting messages on whether I'm supposed to use the "Portable Drive" plugin or the "iPod" plugin when using an iPod with MC. What's the latest advice on this? Both seem to be the same version number, but the "iPod" plugin is newer.
Thanks,
Larry

MC comes standard with the right plug-in for the iPod.
The latest builds don't work with the iPod. That will be fixed next week.

I actually meant for version 9, but I should extend my question to version 10 AFTER it once again works with the iPod.
Thanks,
Larry

I think 9.1 also comes with the iPod plug-in.

I think 9.1 also comes with the iPod plug-in.
Actually, it doesn't come with the "iPod" plugin -- it comes with the "portable drive" plugin (as does version 10.) If the "portable drive" plugin that MC comes with is the correct one to use with the iPod, what's the "iPod" plugin on the download page for?
Thanks for clarification on this,

I still am not clear which is the correct plugin to use with the iPod (or if it even matters.) It was posted that MC 9.1.316 comes with the correct plugin for the iPod by default, which would mean the "Portable Drive" plugin. If this is the case, however, what is purpose of the "iPod" plugin?
Thanks for clarification on this,

Larry,
Use the Portable Drive Plugin that comes with 9.1.316. The other versions are for new releases for the new versions of MC 10 ( and formerly for new versions of 9). If you go to 10, then use whatever ships with the version of 10. I always include the latest plugin with the latest version of 10.
