Title: Zoomplayer to play imported video files?
Post by: jpd5862 on January 24, 2004, 04:05:34 pm
I love MC to catalogue my music library.  I'm now trying to use it to catalogue video files (.mpg's) that I create with other PVR applications.  I would like, however, to not use MC as my video player for the .mpg files, instead I'd like to use zoomplayer for those.  Can I configure MC to do this?

I don't know of any way to make it use Zoomplayer by default... but you can use drag and drop (see this thread (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=18531)) or the Send To function... right-click the file you want and go to Send To/Send To (External)/Add-Edit Program and add Zoomplayer.exe as one of the options.  This (sendto) will work for individual files only though... otherwise it'll only open one of the files anyway (and for BSPlayer it seems to try to open a window for each file).

Thanks.  This is most helpful.  Is there any way set 'send to (external)' as a command in Hairstyle?
