Hi. I tried searching the board for this issue but I don't know exactly what to call it. I'm having two repeating problems with MC9 (still in trial mode... I wanted to make sure I can resolve these issues before I pay). Basically, after burning 1-5 CDs, I'll load another and one of two things will happen:
1) MC9 will go into a loop where it repeatedly tries to look up YADB over and over again but never succeeds.
or
2) If it is a CD that also has a data partition (like some music CDs do for special features) it only find that one and tells me there is no music
Both problems are resolved if I shut down MC9 and start it again. Is this a MC9 problem, or do I have some settings wrong in Windows/with my CD drive.
Windows XP Pro
Most recent MC9 (a few days old)
Sony DVD-ROM/CD-RW combo drive
Thanks.

What version of MC?

9.1.316

Try disabling any other software that accesses the drives.

How do I do that... I think the only other software running is Windows... would that be mounting the drive?

I went in and set XP to have "No Action" under every scenario. It still goes into the never-end YADB loop on about every 3rd disc. It alternates showing the "Accessing YADB" and "Gathering information and Updating View" windows successively. Has no one else seen this problem?

Yep.
Same problem here.

Has there been any resolution to this? Is it caused because I have an unregistered version? I don't really want to pay the fee unless I know it can be resolved (I which case I like the rest of the program and am happy to pay). -Tom
