Hi
I am unable to read a movie compress in dx50.
I only hear the sound.
The file is recognise by MC like an audio file even if it is an .avi file.
I never has the problem before with avi file.
I can read it with the divx player.
I can't read it with WMP , only the sound.
I install divx codec 5.1.
Have you an idea please
Thanks

I'm guessing here.
Try renaming it with a .mpg extension.
In recent versions, you can set the content type under file properties. I'm not sure that's in 9.1, but it is in 10.0.

I think you need to install the latest DivX filter pack.

This player comes with the codec

Thanks for the answer
But I install the last divx codec.
And it does not work with MC10, WM9
I try to check it with Gspot, which discover a rendering failure in video.
But I always can read it with Divx player.
Do MC10 use the same codec as Divx player?
