Title: Playlist Creation as Client to Media Server
Post by: texduck88 on February 02, 2004, 10:42:52 am
I'm running registered copies of MC 10.0.57 and need a little help.  I think that I read a thread a few months ago that a future release would allow me to create playlists from a workstation that is attached to a library via Media Server.  I can create a playlist but it seems if I exit MC on the client, then restart the client and attach to the same (or different) library, the newly created playlist seems has vansihed.  ?

I've searched Interact for help on the subject but don't find any  discussion about this topic.  Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mark

Playlists are not saved on the client PC.  You need to make them on the server.  We may change this later, but it isn't simple.

Thanks for the update, Jim.  Is there any way to store a playlist on the client by specifying the path, i.e., C:\music\playlists\xxx.yyy ?
